BOSTON, Mass., Oct. 29, 2026 — Videa, the most adopted dental AI platform, today announced that Ambient Coaching is now available to customers using Videa Voice Notes. The capability analyzes patient-provider conversations and provides dental practices with structured insights into how treatment is presented, the questions patients raise, and where communication may need more clarity. 

The launch represents a major milestone for Voice Notes, which serves the nation’s leading general and specialty dental practices, including Tend, Emergency Dental of America, and Specialty Dental Brands. 

Where Voice Notes turns chairside conversations into chart-ready documentation, Ambient Coaching uses the same conversational foundation to surface patterns across case presentation, financial conversations, patient response, providers, locations, and visit types. Practices gain a clearer view of what resonates with patients, where conversations lose momentum, and how clinicians can strengthen treatment discussions over time to support better care. 

Together, Voice Notes and Ambient Coaching expand Videa’s growing dental AI platform, helping practices document care and learn from everyday patient interactions, and continuously improve the patient experience.

Videa introduced Ambient Intelligence in May 2026 with access for select Voice Notes customers. Its availability builds on Videa’s voice capabilities, including hands-free periodontal charting through Voice Perio. Together, the three capabilities span documentation, charting, and practice insights, creating a foundation for conversation intelligence across more of the dental workflow.

Planned development areas include deeper analytics across the treatment funnel, more context for patient follow-up and scheduling, and stronger connections between conversation data, clinical documentation, and claims preparation. These applications could help teams identify where patients disengage, surface recurring concerns about treatment, cost, or timing, and carry relevant information into subsequent interactions.
